Ski & Yoga Retreat in Japan – All Women – February 2027
Women’s Ski Trip to Japan
Hokkaido Has Been on the List for Years.
Deep snow. Quiet forests. Onsens after long days. A culture that respects the mountains the way we do.
February 14 to 21, 2027, we’re bringing the LUX crew to Japan. Three resorts, one villa, and a group of women who came to ski hard and rest well.
Join us in Japan for the immersive all women ski week
WHY JAPAN?
Japan is legendary for a reason.
Known for its consistent, deep, feather-light powder, the backcountry here offers a completely different experience than North America or Europe, with flowy tree runs, playful terrain, and a surreal, snow-covered landscape.
But beyond the skiing, Japan offers something else:
- Natural onsen (hot springs) to recover after long days
- A deeply rooted culture of mindfulness and ritual
- Incredible cuisine and hospitality
- A sense of calm that perfectly complements the intensity of the mountains
✧ THE EXPERIENCE
This week is designed as a full-spectrum experience, pushing physically in the mountains, and grounding deeply off them.
What your week looks like:
- Daily skiing and snowboarding (slackcountry / ‘gates’ skiing off-resort)
- Guided by local & certified guides
- Deep powder tree skiing + alpine terrain (conditions dependent)
- Avalanche safety + terrain education
- Daily yoga, mobility & breathwork
- Onsen recovery sessions
- Cultural immersion + local cuisine
- One rest/integration day
This is a progressive week: we meet you where you are and help you level up.
Details on our Japan ski & snowboard trip
This isn’t a lift-pass-and-figure-it-out kind of trip. It’s hosted, guided, and built around actually knowing the mountain you’re on.
8 days, three resorts, one home base.
- Niseko: Three days on the mountain that put Japan powder on the map. Deep, consistent, legendary for a reason.
- Rusutsu: A full day of quiet, tree-lined terrain. Fewer crowds, more turns.
- Kiroro: One day at a resort most visitors never make it to. Some of the best snow in Hokkaido, and almost nobody there to ski it with you.
We have an amazing local connection in Japan. That means someone who knows where the good snow is, when to push toward a gate for sidecountry access, and when to call it and head back for an onsen. Her name is Eliza and she will guide us to the best spots !
