Meet our founders
Euge Tipaldi
Euge is the host of LUX Surf Retreat and creator of Let Me Be Wild. Born in Ushuaia, Patagonia Argentina and guided by the rhythm of the ocean, she is a surfer, snowboarder, and action sport coach who’s spent the last 15 years living nomadically — chasing life around nature, building community, and guiding others toward their truth. She spent three years traveling the Pacific Coast in a van, learning how to live slowly, simply, and on her own terms.
⫸ That journey led her to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica — to a small corner of the jungle called Matapalo. A sacred land with wild energy and deep stillness. For the past five years, she’s returned there every year to reset, reconnect, and remember who she is. This retreat is her way of opening that door for others. An invitation to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself — surrounded by nature, movement, and women who are ready to live with intention.

Alenka Mali
This retreat is born from friendship, sisterhood, and a shared love for wild landscapes and conscious movement. We met in the mountains — drawn together by our desire to explore, to feel deeply, and to live with intention.
⫸ Alenka is the founder of LUX Snow — a professional snowboarder, BASE jumper, and emerging film producer who grew up between the European Alps and Patagonia. She’s spent the last few years chasing powder in the backcountry, competing on the Freeride World Qualifier Tour, and guiding women into bold, empowering mountain experiences.
⫸ Now fully focused on producing adventure films, Alenka brings big dreams and bold vision to everything she does. Her roots run deep in high alpine terrain, and she brings the clarity and fire of the peaks to everything she creates.
