Itinerary
Whistler Blackcomb offers more choices than nearly any other mountain destination in the world. With a combination of thrilling descents and exquisite scenery, it’s time to turn your dreams into reality…
Some of the finest backcountry ski terrain in Southwestern BC lies east of Pemberton where Highway 99 climbs through the Cayoosh Range and runs past Duffey Lake. The highway gives easy access to numerous avalanche paths, open ridges, meadows, glaciers, and attractive alpine basins that offer superb mid-winter backcountry skiing. Ski trips start at higher elevations from the paved highway and range from sleuthing for powder near the road to high-alpine ski ascents. Many descents offer long rewarding runs of up to 1,200m. Most trips are one or two days.
(Keep in mind the weather has the last word – we will plan according to conditions and overall forecast)

Earn your turns! Hike up, find your line, ride down. It’s called Ski Touring – No lifts, no lines, just pure alpine terrain. With over 9,000 Hectares of mountain wilderness, you are guaranteed to find your own unique fresh adventure. With local experts and an avalanche refresher at the beginning of the week, we will ensure you stay safe in the backcountry! We want to choose our days in the backcountry optimally. Some days are better, so the retreat’s schedule is weather-dependent. We can give you a day-to-day plan when you arrive—aiming for at least 3 days in the backcountry and one day of resort riding.
If there’s a day you feel like staying at home and curling up by the fire, with a good book or a cup of tea, you are more than free to do so. A hot bubble bath, to recharge, is never a bad idea!
